ಗದ್ಯಪಾಠ-2- ಲಂಡನ್ ನಗರ -ವಿ.ಕೃ.ಗೋಕಾಕ ಕೃತಿಕಾರರ ಪರಿಚಯ: ವಿನಾಯಕ ಕಾವ್ಯನಾಮದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿರುವ ಡಾ.ವಿನಾಯಕ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಗೋಕಾಕರ ಕಾಲ ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ.1906. ಇವರು ಹಾವೇರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸವಣೂರಿನವರು. ಇವರು ಸಮುದ್ರ ಗೀತೆಗಳು, ಪಯಣ, ಉಗಮ, ಇಜ್ಜೋಡು, ಸಮರಸವೇ ಜೀವನ, ಭಾರತ ಸಿಂಧು ರಶ್ಮಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ದ್ಯಾವಾ ಪೃಥಿವೀ ಕೃತಿಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಗೌರವ ಡಿ.ಲಿಟ್, ಸಮಗ್ರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಪೀಠ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ದೊರೆತಿವೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಲಂಡನ್ ನಗರ ಗದ್ಯಭಾಗವನ್ನು ವಿ.ಕೃ.ಗೋಕಾಕರ ಸಮುದ್ರದಾಚೆಯಿಂದ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕಥನದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
