Ans: The speaker of the poem effectively argues that we don’t need to seek heaven elsewhere. As, the beauty of the nature makes the earth a heavenly place. He proves this by describing roaring Streams, sunshine, moonlight and the harvest.  According to him, the concepts of God, nymphs and heaven are just myths. We, humans can transform this earth into a heaven by following the path of virtue. The concept of heaven is an abstract idea. We can have the heaven here on the earth itself by becoming ourselves gods and nymphs. The poet expects us to develop noble and divine qualities so that the earth can be transformed into a place of beauty like heaven.
